Why she founded MobileHRnow.

After more than two decades leading HR inside growing organizations — from talent acquisition and workforce planning to compensation, employee relations, and complex regulatory work — Darlamae kept seeing the same pattern: business owners were making people decisions in isolation, without the executive-level guidance they needed and couldn’t afford to hire in-house.

She founded MobileHRnow in 2007 to close that gap. The idea was simple: give growing companies the on-demand HR leadership normally reserved for much larger organizations — at a fraction of the cost of a full-time W-2 director.

Her philosophy toward leadership.

Darlamae believes companies are built by people, and people are led — not managed. Every engagement starts with the same question: what does this organization need its leaders to become? Everything from hiring and compensation to policy and coaching flows downstream from that answer.

Why businesses trust her.

She’s sat in the leadership seat. She’s handled the difficult termination, the surprise resignation, the workplace investigation, the growth spurt that outran the founder’s systems. When she gives advice, it’s the advice of someone who has already had to live with the consequences.

How she partners with executive teams.

Darlamae sits at the leadership table. She reads the P&L. She knows the story of the business — where it’s going, who’s driving it, and what’s at risk. Her clients don’t treat her like a vendor; they treat her like the head of people they haven’t yet hired.

“My job is to make you a better employer than you thought you had time to be.”
